South Carolina's I NINE is comprised of four members: Carmen Keigans, Brian Whitman, Bryan Gibson and Matt Heath. Carmen's vocal ability and stage presence has been compared to everyone from Janis Joplin to Patti Smith to Ann Wilson, but even with all the comparisons once you see Carmen and the band perform, it's clear they are one-of-a-kind.
I Nine has played shows locally in the South over the last few months and this EP is a collection of their best live performances.
The band has already made some major fans in the early days of their career, including Cameron Crowe, who hand-picked them to perform the lead single "Same In Any Language" for the highly-anticipated Paramount Pictures feature film soundtrack ELIZABETHTOWN. Look for I Nine on tour this fall and for a full-length debut in 2006.
