An early rock and roll single from the New York City based Fargo label, Arty Lee's "Shadago" b/w "A Lantern In A Window" features an "A" side that sounds like it could have been the theme song to a TV Western with vocals in the style of Frankie Laine. The "B" side, a song about a gambler, rocks along nicely with some interesting female backing vocals for some added pep. Originally released in 1964, this ultra rare 45 RPM single fetches triple digits whenever it turns up on collectors' sites in quality condition. This elusive gem is presented here newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain.
